Our attitude in the face of life’s challenges determines our suffering or our freedom.” -Tara Brach

Most people come to therapy because they are unhappy with some aspect of their life. This dissatisfaction can be a great impetus for positive change. Since change really happens from the inside out, dissatisfaction can be a guide to a more meaningful life.

I believe in the power of awareness and intention as primary tools for personal growth. Whether you are suffering from depression or anxiety, recovering from a traumatic experience, or dealing with a difficult relationship, awareness and intention will change your experience of yourself and others. I provide an atmosphere of curiosity and non-judgment to allow this awakening to unfold.

While therapy always, in some way, deals with the past, my primary focus is on noticing what you are experiencing in the present. By bringing awareness to what is happening currently in your life, you have the power to alter life-long patterns that are no longer serving you.
